Note: The title is an inside joke about my poster layout I had in my old room, I had a picture of Kang Dong Won up and a picture was overlapping it, didn't realise until a friend pointed it out that it cut out half the words on the poster, and ever since he always referred to KDW as "The Fas", He used to be "The Fashio" until then, another poster overlapping incident. so thats the backstory, lol.
I felt I hadn't been doing my best work, When was the last time I did a decent portrait? Gosh like forever ago right?
Anyways, I feel like stripping down one of my walls and making a big brown paper portrait wall of all my favourite people, it'll probably take forever to do, what with all the small pictures and depending on how many I give away to people who come over and say "oh thats nice" The first is my favourite Korean Actor/model, and probably favourite actor/Model period, Kang Dong Won, He starred in movies like "Duelist", "Too Beautiful to Lie", "Temptations of the Wolves" and most recently "M". He's got a new movie coming out this year can't wait for that one. Anyways, peace, hope you like it. And yes the edges are rough, I can't cut for shit.
If anyone likes this style and would like to give it a go, Get some brown paper (Maybe a paper bag or like me, a giant roll of eco wrapping paper), get a black pencil and a white chalk pencil (They work smoother than a pencil I think), and remember to always do your highlights first, Just the main parts anyway, like the whites of the eyes and the lightest part of the face and hair. Try work from top to bottom, unlike me who works all over the place, this is to avoid smudging of the chalk. Oh look at me, being all advice-giving-like and all Anyways have fun
That.. that is just absolutely gorgeous, Hales! Beautiful beautiful work! X333 I love his lips so much, and the hairrr... and the eyesss. aughhhhhh.DSHDKJSHD BEAUTIFUL.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
